Mariann Sullivan and Jasmin Singer are the titular Exes, and they are constantly surprised (thus the “Oh!s”) by how hard it is sometimes to get anything done, how hardly anybody seems to mind things that seem really bad—like the earth getting hotter and all the animals in factory farms—and, in spite of it all, how beautiful the world can be.

Jasmin and Mariann are the long-time co-hosts and co-founders of the award-winning Our Hen House podcast. Jasmin is also the Executive Director.

• Jasmin is the author of two books: The VegNews Guide to Being a Fabulous Vegan and Always Too Much and Never Enough: A Memoir.

• Mariann is the host of The Animal Law Podcast

• Jasmin and Mariann have presented public workshops about veganism, animal rights, and identity around the world. Jasmin also led a TEDx talk called “Compassion Unlocks Identity” to a live audience of 2,500 people.

• Mariann teaches Animal Law at Cornell Law School.

• Jasmin is the host of the shows Environmental Connections and Weekend Edition for WXXI, which is Rochester, NY’s NPR station.

I co-host the weekly Our Hen House podcast, host the Animal Law Podcast, and teach animal law at Cornell Law School. I am obsessed with the horrible things people do to animals. If you are still eating them, I would like you to stop. Now.
