I came here after typing “vegan” in the search box. I sit on the couch next to a snoring 16 yo yellow chihuahua. I adopted Gidget when she was 7. I’d previously adopted a 14 yo chihuahua that lived to age 18. I’m oldish and my plan was that Gidget would be my last dog and we’d grow really old together. She’s recently been to 3 different ERs on 3 different nights and saw a cardiologist 2 1/2 hours away after a panicked day of trying to find an appointment. Now we wait for an internal medicine appointment on 12/8. It’s hard but reading your story helps. I’m sorry about Birdie. She was beautiful.
I'm so sorry you lost Birdie today and I'm so grateful that you had her and she had you. What a loving person for a senior dog to have and what a fun, sweet doggie Birdie sounds like. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet her. I'm sending love to you and Moore and all the other beings blessed by Birdie's soul.
